Kingdom Lighthouse Church is a ministry of Capstone Ministries Incorporated, a Rhode Island nonprofit and 501(c)(3) organization ("KLC," "we," "us," or "our"). We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect
Information you give us. We collect information you choose to provide, such as when you:

Give a donation or make a purchase from our bookstore

This may include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and any details you include in your message.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Services, our platforms and analytics tools may collect your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, app version, pages or screens viewed, listening and viewing activity, crash reports, and the site that referred you.
Prayer requests and sensitive information. Prayer requests may include personal details about your health, family, or circumstances. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing. We treat this information as confidential (see Section 3).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

Prayer requests are shared only with our pastoral staff and designated prayer team members. We will not publish your name or request without your permission.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
4. Online Giving and Payments
Online donations and purchases are processed by secure third-party payment processors. KLC does not store your full credit card or bank account numbers on our systems.
We keep a record of your name, contact details, gift amount, date, and designated fund. We use this record to acknowledge your gift and issue year-end contribution statements. Your giving history is kept confidential and is available only to authorized church financial staff.
5. Mobile Apps, Radio, and Text Messages
App permissions. Our apps may ask for permission to send push notifications, play audio in the background, or access your camera or photos (for example, to upload a profile picture). You can turn these permissions on or off at any time in your device settings. We do not collect your precise location unless you choose to allow it.
Push notifications. If you allow them, we send notices about services, events, and new content. You can turn them off in the app or in your device settings.
Text messages. If you opt in to text messages, we will send ministry updates and reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. We do not share your mobile number or text opt-in with third parties for their marketing.
Radio and streaming. When you listen to KLC Radio or watch our streams, our streaming providers may collect technical data such as your IP address, device type, and listening time. This helps us measure audience size and keep the stream working.
Account deletion. If you created an account in our app, you can ask us to delete it and its data by emailing bishop@kingdomlighthousechurch.org with the subject "Delete My Account." We will confirm and complete your request within 30 days.
6. Sharing and Third-Party Services
We share information only as needed to run our ministry, with service providers who help us operate. These include:

Website and app platforms: Wix.com and the providers that build and host our mobile apps

App stores: Apple App Store and Google Play, which handle app downloads under their own terms

Payment processing: our online giving and bookstore payment providers

Email, text, and calendar: providers we use to send newsletters, text messages, and calendar subscriptions, such as Google

Media and streaming: radio, livestream, video, and podcast services, such as YouTube, and broadcast partners that carry our programs

Social media: platforms where we keep official pages, such as Facebook and Instagram

Maps: Google Maps, used to show our location
These providers handle your information under their own privacy policies. Embedded content from other sites behaves as if you had visited that site directly. When you interact with us on social media or a partner site, that platform's privacy policy also applies.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the safety of our members or the public, or to protect the rights and property of the church.
7. Cookies and Analytics
Our website and apps use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to keep the Services working, remember your preferences, and understand how people use them. Some are set by Wix, our app providers, and embedded services such as YouTube and Google Maps.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and limit ad tracking in your device settings. Some features may not work properly without them.
8. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.
Registration for youth programs must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Data Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. Access is limited to staff and volunteers who need it to serve you. No website, app, or online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy. Donation records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
10. Your Choices and Rights
You may at any time:

Unsubscribe from emails by using the "unsubscribe" link in any message

Reply STOP to text messages, turn off push notifications, or remove our church calendar from your calendar app
